2025 held its share of surprises, often in the most unexpected places. While profound institutional and tax upheavals had been predicted, the year ultimately followed a path of relative continuity from 2024: a relative—yet welcome—stability in existing tax frameworks, alongside a more debatable steady stream of reform announcements, which proved to be as creative as they were uncertain.
This sense of “relativity” also shaped Axtead’s own journey. In early 2025, our entire team—partners and associates—came together with a shared resolve: to continue our practice within a new framework, remaining true to our core values and our commitment to rigor, independence, and expertise.
In 2026, we will continue to advise executives, managers, and private clients on the structuring, succession, and protection of their wealth. Our approach remains rooted in risk anticipation, the economic coherence of every transaction, and a mastery of complex tax regulations.
If there is one lesson to be learned from the unpredictability of 2025, it is that 2026 may well be a year of movement and significant reform.
